It is to be noted that Microsoft Office apps have been available to Mac users for a long time now, however, prior to this, they were forced to download the apps from Microsoft’s website, which was an issue as most users prefer to just download apps from the App Store. The bundle includes six apps from Microsoft – Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote and OneDrive. While these apps are free to download, you will need Office 365 Subscription to even use the basic features in most apps. Another benefit of this is that Office apps will be automatically updated through the app store and users will not have to use Microsoft’s AutoUpdate tool to update their Office apps anymore.
